Description: Taken from the back of The Chocolate Sundae Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner:

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are working in the oldest ice-cream parlor in Greenfield.

There’s a new owner, and things should be going well. But chocolate ice cream is disappearing from the freezer, the sundae glasses are missing, and the whipping cream has gone sour.

Customers are complaining, and soon it looks like they’ll be leaving. Is someone trying to ruin the business for the new owner? Who could be against ice cream?

This book is an old classic to me. Sometimes when life gets busy you just need a short easy read to get you through! The Boxcar Children mystery books have always done that for me and I have loved these stories my whole life. I hope you’ll consider reading this book with a book scoop of ice cream!
