Cook from a Book! ‘Spinners’

Have you ever read about a character having something delicious and you wanted to know what it tasted like? Well, today I’m going to walk you through making a simple recipe from my novel Spinners. Follow along using your own ingredients to replicate it!

Cetiline - A beverage enjoyed in the Kingdom of Merz. Going well with any meal but enjoyed most in the early morning hours or the evening. A mixture of sweet fruit, Cet leaves, and honey. Refreshing in the summer and cozy in the winter.

Ingredients:

  1. A fruit juice of your choice

  2. Tea leaves or a tea bag of your choice

  3. Honey

  4. Cream (optional)

Steps:

  1. Boil one cup of water and pour it into a cup with your tea bag, or tea leaves. Allow them to soak until the drink is just slightly warm.

  2. Next add in ½ cup of your preferred fruit juice

  3. Then add one tablespoon of honey. *For a richer, creamier, flavor add in one tablespoon of cream.

  4. Mix together and enjoy!

Serve with biscuits, cookies, or simply enjoy it all on it’s own!

*Don’t forget to experiment with having it hot or cold, trying different fruit and tea combinations, and figuring out how much honey and cream you enjoy!

There you have it, a replica of Cetiline, a beloved beverage in my book and something you can now try for yourself!

Let me know how your recipes turns out and what ingredients you used!

With Faith, Hope, Love, and Feathers,

Inertia.

P.S. Special thanks to Kaida Nym for experimenting with and wanting to try the first cup!
