Short and Sweet Encouragement (22)

Is the year ending too fast? Have you been feeling stressed or behind lately? If you’re in need of an extra boost of hope to get you through the week and into the next one then this is the perfect place for you! Welcome to Short and Sweet encouragement sessions, hosted by Bible verse and brought to life with worship songs!

Weeks are long so let’s keep these short!

This week's Bible verse can be found in Corinthians. Chapter 13, verses 12.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I am known in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known .” (NKJV)

Can you find something that stands out to you in this verse?

This verse talks about seeing in a mirror, a mirror that is not clean and polished, just a reflection of what’s going on around you. It’s talking about seeing and knowing God, we can see Him some now, and what we see is good, but we can’t see or understand everything. Sometimes that is discouraging, especially when things around you seem to have no reason for going wrong, but the last section of that verse gives us hope! “I shall know”! Not ‘might’ or ‘maybe’ but you will know everything in heaven when you see God face to face. Let’s look forward to that and keep striving to shine His light!

Don’t leave yet! I encourage you to check out this worship before you leave:

In The Light by DC Talk.

Come back next week and bring a friend for more Short and Sweet Encouragements!

With Faith, Hope, Love, and Feathers,

Inertia.
