Short and Sweet Encouragement (17)
Has life been a little hard lately? Are you feeling stressed, behind, cranky, or hungry? Then this is for you! And this is also for you that just needs a little extra boost to keep the energy up! Welcome to my encouraging Saturday posts hosted by Bible verses and worship songs!
The week is long so I’ll keep these short!
Today's verse is found in Philippians. Chapter four verse five.
“Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.” (NKJV)
What stands out to you the most about that verse?
Let your gentleness be known to all men. Much like Mathew 5:16 where it tells us to be the light of the world so people can see Jesus through us this is telling us to be gentle to show that the Lord is at hand. Gentle doesn’t just mean walking around like the world is made of glass so you must be careful not to break things. Gentle means being aware of someone else, seeing their spiritual weaknesses and being gentle with them, it’s seeing how you can love someone in a way that will mean a lot to them. Being gentle for the Lord is one way you can show him to everyone you pass by.
Before you go, here’s a worship song I encourage you to check out!
