Short and Sweet Encouragement (8)

The week is long so I’ll keep these short!

Today's verse is found in Zephina. Chapter 3 verse 17.

“The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (NKJV)

What stands out to you the most about that verse? 

Did you notice it says He will… “quiet you with His love?” Have you ever had a scared puppy before? Yelling doesn’t help, does it? Even if it’s being silly and it’s afraid of something as simple as going in the car. Talking to it in love, even when yelling is easier, always turns out better. Sometimes we get upset over silly things too, but God never yells, not even when we deserve it, he quiets us with His love.
