Short and Sweet Encouragement (19)
Has life been a little hard lately? Are you feeling stressed, behind, cranky, or hungry? Then this is for you! And this is also for you that just needs a little extra boost to keep the energy up! Welcome to my encouraging Saturday posts hosted by Bible verses and worship songs!
The week is long so I’ll keep these short!
Today's verse is found in Exodus. Chapter thirty-four verse six.
“And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.” (NKJV)
What stands out to you the most about that verse?
This verse is talking about the Lord passing before Moses. This is a great reminder about some of God’s traits. He is merciful, gracious, long-suffering, abounding in goodness, abounding in truth. We can’t measure up to that, we can’t think that we’re better at those things than He is. So the next time you think you should be leading your own life, recall the traits of God that make Him so much better than us.
Before you go, here’s a worship song I encourage you to check out!
